Dear Ones,

Day +97 & +98

Day 1 of preventive Chemo! Kevin, Robert, Mary Mallette and I all arrived at the oncology office for her first post bone marrow transplant Hickory medical visits. All went well and her counts were up from last week.

It just seems very surreal to be in treatment again. But, this medicine will be the ticket to get the donor cells to completely “own” her marrow. This will ensure the evil blast cells have been eridicated and only healthy donor marrow remains!

That is the prayer...100% donor marrow, complete cure, minor side effects and more good days ahead!!! This is a nasty brand of AML and her team are using all the arrows in their quiver to defeat each and every medical issue. We are grateful for them all🙏🙏🙏

Day 2 of chemo went very well. Robert brought MM to the clinic and we were able to solve many of the world’s problems during her infusion🙃🙃🙃

Really, being togther is lovely and we make the best of a stupid situation. Many people we know are in these types of situations, dealing with any number of heartbreaking day to days, and as Mary Mallette says to us, “This is a day of my life, so I’m going to make the very best of it❤️” You have to love her, right? Teaching us, counseling us on loving and living!!! She’s THE BEST!!!

As always, thank you, thank you, thank you for your continued support and love. It means the world 🌎.

Love love love

Meg
