LYRICS BY MATT FERRETI, REGINA FERGUSON,
AND MEG JENKINS LOCKE

The Lyrics

VERSE I

WE FELT LIKE WE COULD TOUCH THE SKY
THOSE SOUTHERN NIGHTS WE ALWAYS TRIED

THE MOON ABOVE, NOW I SEE
YOU’RE ALWAYS HERE WITH ME

VERSE II

I WALK THE SANDS AND THINK OF YOU
WE LIVED AND LOVED AND MADE IT THROUGH

WHEN NO ONES ELSE IS AROUND

I HEAR YOUR VOICE, THE SWEETEST SOUND

CHORUS

GOOD GRIEF IS HARD TO FIND
WHEN YOU CAN’T GET BACK THE TIME
JOYS WE SHARED, MINE AND YOURS
LIVE BEYOND THESE ENDLESS SHORES
BRIDGE I WAS TIRED OF TRYING (YOU GAVE ME
STRENGTH) LETTING GO (YOU SAID ITS OK)
THE SWEETEST SOUND, WITH ME ALWAYS
