A South Carolina native, Meg Jenkins Locke founded Carolina Moon Hospitality in 2005.

Beginning her career over thirty years ago, Meg’s lifelong love of family, food, and relationships culminated with the opening of Hickory, NC's premier farm-to-table restaurant,

HIGHLAND AVENUE, and the premier events venue THE CROSSING, in the spring of 2013.

These catalyst projects led to the redevelopment of a large area of Hickory through

Boost Hickory and a $40M Bond Project.

Following these successful ventures, Meg then moved on to the health care industry leading the team as the Chief Engagement Officer at Legacy Health & Wellness, MedSpa.

She continues her professional devotion to the communities of

Hickory, NC, Rock Hill, SC, and Fort Mill, SC.

With a soaring imagination as a community developer and entrepreneur, Meg’s unrealized ambition has always been to write, develop, and produce. And thus, Carolina Moon Creative was born.

Her production company is her latest endeavor; a third act in her storied career and she

sees her writing & film work as one more way to serve her thriving community
