Dear Ones,
Our week has been very difficult and very hard.
For all of us, but for Mary Mallette, it has been a turning point in her courageous battle that she has waged since 2015.
All of the recent heart issues and other complications are perhaps a result of a broken heart born of the news that the AML has Relapsed.
She now faces unthinkable decisions.
Does she return to Baptist for palliative inpatient chemotherapy on Monday, or does she stay home ending additional treatment options?
No one should be asked to make these choices, but here we are, and with courage and grace, Mary Mallette will make her own decision with Kevin, with our family by her side supporting her as she has supported us❤️
Pray for her, please.
Pray for all whom she loves and love her.
Light candles, light trees and garlands and wreaths singing her name and giving thanks for her grace and kindness and humor and love❤️❤️❤️
She is amongst us still and oh, she is SO loved.
This season of Advent teaches us of expectation and wonder. Such is the wonder of my sister’s extraordinary life and the joy we experience with her.
We will treasure every minute, hour, day left to us...
Be swift and make haste.
