Dear Ones,
No residual disease! We are headed to Baptist on Wednesday to begin the transplant process. Prayers were answered! Your prayers, texts, emails, cards and calls have helped us to deal with the extra waiting.
I am so very, very grateful for ALL of you. Kevin, Meg, Robert and the rest of our posse feel your love and support.
Kevin, Meg and Robert have given up days, weeks and months to help me get well. I can never thank them enough....and, here we go again, with more months of it. My gratitude is beyond measure and so is my love for them and all of our family!
The precious young man who is giving me a chance at a cure and new life- though I do not know him, I am praying for him as he goes through the donation process. Please pray for him, too. What a an amazing gift he is giving- to a complete stranger!!
Please keep praying for the transplant process- that the chemo and other drugs do their jobs without causing harm to my body. Please pray for minimal side effects, a successful transplant, and Host vs Graft disease and CURE!!! Please also pray for the medical team and, for Kevin, Meg and Robert as they work together to take care of me- it is physically demanding and emotionally draining to be the patient caretakers!! I love them SO much!
We will keep you posted as to how things are going....but, no news is good news!
Take care of yourselves and one another. Again, thank you for your love and support. It means SO very much!
Love, love,
Mary Mallette
